Description of product typologies
Greco di Bianco PDO is straw-yellow with amber reflections; the nose is embracing and intense, with floral notes reminiscent of orange blossom and lily and alternating fruity hints of dried fig, dates, candied orange and citron, accompanied by smooth, mild notes of vanilla; it is smooth and warm on the palate, with an embracing sensation of honey, fig and almond in the long, persistent finish. The harvested grapes used to produce Greco di Bianco PDO must be dried on trellises in the sun or with forced air; they are then crushed and pressed. Greco di Bianco PDO cannot be released for consumption before November 1st of the year following that in which the grapes were produced.
