Description of product typologies
Aversa PDO Bianco is straw-yellow with pale greenish reflections; the nose displays a fresh fruity fragrance of yellow fruit and aromatic herbs; it is dry, fresh and slightly citrusy on the palate. Aversa PDO Spumante is golden yellow, with abundant foam and a sage-green to straw-yellow perlage; it displays intense sensations of yellow fruit on the nose, including peach, pineapple and apricot, as well as candied citrus fruit and pink grapefruit; it is smooth on the palate, with light nuances of toasted croissant and panettone, richly sapid and persistent.
Additional specifications
The Aversa PDO designation must be followed by specification “Alberata” or “Vigneti ad alberata” if it is obtained from grapes originating from tree-trained vines.
