It can display Superiore and Riserva on the label, the latter only if the wine has been aged for a minimum of 2 years, of which at least 2 months must be maturing in bottles. The aging period commences November 1st of the year in which the grapes were harvested. It can also be produced as Semi-Sparkling wine. Pergola PDO Spumante Rosé has a vivacious pink colour and fine-grained persistent foam; the nose displays evident sweet notes of raspberry, blackberry, pink grapefruit and blood orange, as well as hints of bread crust and slight traces of rose; it is sweet, full, harmonious and lively on the palate, with sweet hints of roasting and ripe fruit. Pergola PDO Novello is ruby-red in colour; the nose offers fruity notes of fruits of the forest and floral suggestions of roe and pansy; it is fresh, harmonious and lively on the palate, with a long fruity finish.
